Silver-plated engraved communion cups in presentation case

About this piece

Four ornate silver-tone cups with engraved floral/scroll decoration in a hinged presentation case lined in blue velvet-like fabric. The object appears to be a communion or church liturgical travel/presentation set. The paper note in the box references communion cups and claims an 1800s origin, but that remains unverified from the photo alone.
